Jonathan Toussaint
 

Jonathan is a qualified counsellor and accredited Mental Health Social Worker (Medicare registered provider) who has worked in the clinical field for over 25 years.  Jonathan is also recognised as a leading educator in the human services, community, and corporate sectors. He has worked as a university lecturer and served as the CEO of community-based organisations where he has been responsible for driving innovative practices in the areas of mental health, disability, and children’s services.

Karen Morris
 

Karen is a tertiary qualified counsellor and supervisor with over 30 years experience in clinical practice. Karen employs a person-centred and strength-based approach to empower people to reflect on their lives and help them make positive changes. Karen utilise the principles of neuroscience in her clinical work to help clients understand the importance of the role of the brain in healing. She provides practical strategies in her sessions to assist clients in re-wiring their brain patterns to develop optimal functioning and resilience.

My style of therapy is strengths based which is delivered in a gentle, safe and non-confrontational manner in order to build strong connections and create a sense of safety for my clients.   

In my clinical practice I use a holistic, trauma informed approach to counselling, combining differing techniques and modalities in response to the emotional and psychological needs of those seeking my support.  

 

My therapeutic approach also includes: Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT), Focused Psychological Strategies (FPS), Psycho-education and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT).
